META QUEST 2 DEMO
Spring-Fall 2022 - Work Experience
Unity Engine
This project was meant to be a demonstration of the capabilities of the Meta Quest 2, in order to show the possibilities of hand tracking in the field of industry and medicine.

My personal contribution to this project was to improve the visuals of the project and upgrade the graphics with Unity's High Definition Render Pipeline. I also added more interactive objects, physics objects, and hand tracking into the scene to ensure the client's ease of access.

Breakdowns
I contributed many 3D Assets to the Meta Quest 2 Demo as shown to the right:
Generator Box:
Below are the completed models for the generator box portion of the demo, including the metallic/smoothness map, which I used to create the box's variance in sheen and dust particles.
Heat Transfer Device:
The Heat Transfer device was the main portion of this demo; I built the machine in several parts, which included snapping points for the Meta Quest to pick up on in hand tracking mode. Each piece was interactable.
Quick Action Door:
The quick action door was another interactable piece in the environment. I was responsible for retexturing the piece in order to give it a more realistic look - to do so, I employed the use of several of Substance Painter's fill masks to create detail along edges.
